Planing Emerald Coast Beach Wedding: Client Experience

princess wedding destin beach wedding

Planning a beach wedding is stressful enough, but when you have to do it from another state it can be more that overwhelming. They key is to find a wedding company or a person who you can connect with and trust.  Our philosophy at Princess Wedding Co is to deliver personalized experience to destination wedding planning. To always be available to you over the phone or email, which, in my opinion, is the KEY in planning a destination wedding.

Our brand is not our logo or pictures we post on our website and blog.  It is the feeling and experience we want to give our brides  throughout the beach wedding planning. We are not in the business of selling just service. We are in the business of creating a lifelong experience of elegance, love and serenity.

Happy Tuesday,

Kristina

My 8 Favorite Things: Kristina

Hello everyone,

Every year each member of our staff shares their 8 favorite things with our readers. I really like this tradition because not only I get to share my must haves but I also discover quite a few things for myself just by reading what other girls post.

So here are my 8 favorite things:

1. Coconut oil

coconut-oil

Seriously this is the best thing for your hair. This past year I have ruined my hair. It was dry and unhealthy. I tried keratin treatments, expensive hair masks and conditioners but nothing worked like coconut oil. And the best part: it is less than $10. Rub a little bit of coconut oil in your palms (it melts instantly) and apply it to your hair ends. I sleep with this mask overnight and then wash my hair in the morning, but you can just hold it for 10-15 minutes before shower. Use of coconut oil is almost unlimited: you can cook with it, use it as coffee creamer, use as lotion, or dietary supplement.

2. Monogrammed  Notebooks

note book

One thing that is always  present on my desk is a notebook. It stores my to do list for the day, new random ideas for blogs and weddings, future projects, grocery lists and so on.  I have it with me during meetings and phone calls. All information first goes on my notebook. My notebook keeps me organized.

3. Green Tea Latte from Starbucks

Just love it. I actually attempted to make one myself (ordered green tea macha and all. Not sure if it is psychological or not, but it just doesn’t taste as good).

4. JCrew Perfect-Fit T-shirts

23340_BL9410

I love basic JCrew T-shirts. It seems that I love them so much that in 2012 they literally became my daily uniform. Why? Because, they are soft and perfectly long. I naturally have them in all colors.

5. Victoria Secret Pajamas

V348026

Nothing new here really. I loved VS PJ’s last year and I love them in now. Victoria Secret is the best! Here is my favorite style.

6. My iPhone

iphone

It is my timesaver, my assistant, and occasionally babysitter (restaurants and toddlers, enough said). Long ago in a stone age of beach wedding planning when bride called my cell phone with questions about date openings or any info on the exciting weddings, I had to get back to the office for that. Now I get access to all of my bride’s files on the go, I can sign contracts, get updates, have FaceTime meetings and just read my favorite blogs while standing in line at the store.

7. Michael Kors Small Crossbody Purse

michael kors purse

I like the new trend of crossbody purse. It holds all  my essentials without the need for the big purse. I also like that  you can wear it from casual to formal event.  It is also perfect for busy moms who need their hands free to chase the kiddos.

8. Slow Cooker/ Crock Pot

crockpot

I discovered crock pot just a few months ago and now I can’t live without it. I am a traditional wife in a sense that I try to cook dinner for my family. Being a full time mom who is running a growing business it is harder and harder for me to be able to cook. Well, here comes the crockpot to the rescue. It is so easy, convenient and yummy! There are tons of awesome recipes on Pinterest that you can make gourmet meals with just few ingredients. Here are few that I love:

Salsa Chicken:

4 or so chicken breasts (it can even be frozen, if you are like me and forget to defrost it),

1 can of salsa

Optional: can of drained corn, can of drained black beans

On low 6 hours, on high 4 hrs and Tada you have yummy dinner.

Pulled Pork:

about 2-6  lbs pork loin

1 sliced onionsoy sauce (or Worcester sauce)  to taste

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of water

salt and peper to taste

Those are my favorite things right now. Stay tuned for more 8 favorite things from Princess Wedding girls.

Happy Holidays From our Destin Beach Wedding Office

destin beach wedding coordinators

This year has been a game changer for us. Rebranding was more than successful and took our little beach wedding company to a bigger level. With a new website, updated packages, and more videos and guides, Princess Wedding Co became what I always envisioned it to be: elegant, classic and, most importantly, authentic. This change could not have been possible if not for our amazing brides. That is the honest truth. We are so blessed to work with such incredible couples! You inspire us every day with your creativity, taste and vision.

I am also blessed to have an amazing team! Mayya, Edina, Anneli and Janet, you are all amazing and I can’t imagine doing what I do without you. I can’t even find words to tell you how big of a blessing you are in my life.   I am extremely thankful for your friendship,  talent and all of your hard work you have graciously given to me and this company.

Our company is what it  is because of you. So thank you for that. I am not sure what I have done to deserve all of you and I am honored to be heading into 2013 with you all!

(Popping pink Rose Champagne) So cheers for creating together even bigger and prettier things in the next year! Lets soar to new heights together in 2013!

Cheers,

Kristina

Princess Wedding Co Style

Princess Wedding Co delivers impeccable style and perfectly designed beach weddings. If I had to describe our company’s style in two words it would be “girly chic”. We are obsessed with ruffles, gorgeous bows, dreamy pastel colors, and  fluffy flowers. Our recipe for perfect beach wedding would be:

Lots of flowers (think ranunculus, peonies, garden roses, and carnations)

Weightless chiffon

Dash of glitter

Sprinkle of vintage

and Tons of love

It is our passion to help brides tell their love story and create beautiful beach weddings that reflect their style.

Have a great day,

Kristina

Our Beach Wedding Office: Behind The Scenes

Hello ladies,

We usually share pictures of our perfectly put together weddings. But today I will take you behind the scenes and try to explain how it comes together on your wedding day.

Our Princess Wedding Co bouquets are dropped off at your hotel the morning of the wedding.

Our wedding coordinator will show up at the ceremony site about 2 hours before the wedding.  And that’s when all the magic happens. Set up begins with our signature bamboo arbor, chairs, and aisle way decor. Then to finish the look we tie our silk sashes and set up smaller decorations.

Your guests are advised to start showing up 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.  They will be greeted by our wedding coordinator, who will direct them to take a seat and answer any questions they might have. Groom and bridal party are advised to show up 15 minutes before the ceremony. Princess Wedding Co Photographer will be there at this time to start taking pictures of decor, guests and groom.

The officiate will be at the ceremony site at least 15 minutes before the ceremony. He will take care of marriage licensee at this time. He will also assist the groom with any questions regarding vows (for some reason grooms are always nervous about messing up vows).

About 5 minutes before the ceremony the wedding coordinator will be waiting for you at the boardwalk. She will greet you, compliment you and try to calm your nerves. The bridal party will be lined up, music will start playing and all you have to do at this point is take a deep breath and walk down the aisle to meet your anxiously waiting soon-to-be husband.

and that’s a wrap….

Hope you enjoyed this behind the scenes tour.

XO,

Kristina

Our Beach Wedding Office: Changes

Hello lovely brides,

It has been a long time since our last meeting. 3 months to be exact. We missed you and hopefully you all missed us!

Our busiest beach wedding season will soon be coming to an end, and I thought that it’s time to update you on our happenings. For the last few months we have been coordinating, meeting, photographing, and officiating the most elegant, gorgeous and unbelievably  beautiful beach weddings.  We will be sharing pictures with you soon.

We have few changes at our company that I wanted to share with you today. Anneli is our new office manager.  From now on she will not only be your  contact though out wedding planning, but will be handling our office phone and bookings. I am very excited for this change and have all the fate in her. She is amazing!

Another change that is coming in the next couple of weeks is reveal of our new packages. After months of inspiration boards, Pinterest pinning and talking to our brides, I was able to tweak and edited our packages to create packages that work for our destination brides. Packages that are clean and stylish but without a lot of the fluff that usually comes with many beach wedding packages. Just few more details left to perfect before we release then into the world.

I couldn’t  be more excited! Few more days and pictures will be up!

Kristina
