God knows I am addicted to celebrity gossip and mindless TV So maybe its time to include a bit of that on our blog. We even have Celebrity Weddings category now
If it’s one couple in Hollywood I LOVE, it is Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. They are so perfectly gorgeous together!
Their ceremony took place at their home in Texas. They even provided their guests with lodging by having their guests “camp out” in tents for the whole weekend. How fun and unique is that idea?! or not? Not sure how I feel about camping
Matthew, looking handsome as ever, wore a Dolce and Gabana tuxedo while his beautiful Brazilian bride wore a handmade traditional Brazilian dress.
Their menu was cooked by the famous Guy Fieri who cooked up some traditional southern food such as crawfish and fried okra.
To make things personal, their two kids were part of the ceremony acting as the ring bearer and flower girl (how sweet, right?!).
I just can’t get over how beautiful this couple is, and I am totally jealous of Camila’s dress!!!!
The couple finally tied the knot! They made it official at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia, Italy. Such a beautiful place to say “I do!”
And did you happen to see what Jessica wore down the aisle? STUNNING! She was lucky enough to wear a pastel pink Giambattista Valli gown! And her veil was custom made by the designer including some heirloom pearls from her family! I simply love her dress though. The floral motif and cute and romantic ruffles are perfect for a wedding.
My favorite detail about their wedding? Justin Timberlake wrote a song just for the event and sang it to Jessica after vows were exchanged! AH!!!! To die for! How romantic would it be for the love of your life to write a song just for you AND sing it to you?! My heart melts…
Want to look and feel like a princess at your beach wedding? This week’s hair inspiration comes from my favorite lady Duchess of Cambridge!
Almost everywhere she goes, Kate has a simple hair-do of down with soft curls. Kate Middleton is a great example of how a classic style can go with any occasion. She styles her hair that way for red carpet events in the US, for Canadian tours, and even for Engagement photos. Such a classic and elegant look!
This hair style would look great for anyone at their beach wedding!!!
Have you noticed that brooch bouquets are becoming a hit? How can they not when they are simply beautiful?! I personally love them so much. They are awesome in so many ways: they are glamourous and shiny, you can incorporate family belongings into it (maybe your grandmother or mom have a bunch of brooches or jewelry for you to have), they can be saved the way they are for practically ever, and the extra shine in your photographs will look amazing!
Feeling crafty? You can make your bouquet by hand if you want. And what’s great is you can make it MONTHS in advance! So sit down with your ladies and grab your mom too. It could be a fun craft for everyone to participate in. But just be warned, it is a tough task to do. It will take much patience and time. But just think of the end product: it’ll look great!!
Brooch bouquets are so extravagant, even celebrities are carrying them down the isle! Last year, Miranda Lambert carried a stunning one! The neat thing about hers was that she asked all the guests at her bridal shower to bring one brooch. Then she shipped them off and the final bouquet was designed by The Ritzy Rose (they also have Etsy shop!). The bouquet turned out stunning!
Also here is a gorgeous brooch bouquet that was made by Mary Jo Odom at Florida Nuptials (email or call us for more info):
So gather up all your brooches and set out to have yours created! They are sure to impress!!
It’s been 2 months since Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries tied the knot, but I am still obsessed with it all. It was so beautiful and elegant!
Kim said in interviews that her inspiration for much of the wedding was a classic, old Hollywood style. Even for Panama City Beach weddings or Destin beach wedding, this style is easily accomplished. Try incorporating crystals in small places, like in the center of your flowers, or in the vases used as table center pieces. Another fun thing to try is white feathers! Maybe put one in your bouquet, hang them in front of lights, glue them on invitations, or maybe even put one in your hair!
Old Hollywood is all about glamor in the small things. The two simplest colors, black and white, are what really defines the style. But a small hint of color, like red, can make the style pop to an even greater elegance.
A beach old Hollywood wedding would turn out completely beautiful, fulfilling anyone’s wish of glamour and elegance in a wedding.
It doesn’t take fame and fortune to create that fairytale wedding you have always dreamed of. Kate Moss’s recent July wedding has given me some GREAT ideas to achieve just that here in the Destin, FL area!
Kim Kardashian and Chris Humphries Wedding ceremony sneak peek released by E!:
Love all the white Kim used in her wedding. White gives very clean, classic and sophisticated look.
More pictures in a week from People magazine. And of course then, Kim Kardashian inspired wedding post to come soon after that.
Have you guys seen September’s issue of Vogue? If not I’ll give you the scoop
The cover features the amazing and fabulous Kate Moss. Inside the magazine you will discover incredible pictures of her wedding taken by famous fashion photographer Mario Testino (who also took Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s engagement photos). Absolutely amazing!!!
