  • Do I have to pay a fee for the location and will I need a permit?
  • All of the Destin and Panama City Beaches are public beaches, but there are a few that require a small site fee to use their beach access. Before setting plans in stone, it is a good idea to talk with the resort, condo, or beach house owner about using their beach for your wedding ceremony. If the resort requires the site fee, it is the couple's responsibility to make sure the permit and fee are taken care of. We are familiar with the local beaches and if you need any help with this, our wedding coordinators will be happy to assist you.

  • What do we do in case it rains?
  • Probably the biggest fear of planning a beach wedding is the possibility of rain! On the day of your wedding Princess Wedding coordinators check the local Destin, Panama City, or other weather forecast hourly. Typically the rain-fall on Florida's panhandle coast is very brief (15-30 minutes), so most brides tend to just wait it out. However, if there happens to be a larger storm the bride can opt to push back the wedding one day. Some pavilions have indoor sites where the wedding can be moved to also. It is ultimately the bride's decision and our wedding coordinators here at Princess Wedding want your day to be just perfect and help in every way possible.
